Rob Couturier



Rob Couturier is President and Founder of Summit Electric Ltd. Rob began his electrical career as a graduate of the Electrical Trade Program from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, in 1996. He started in residential and commercial installations, which included hospitals, schools and health care facilities. He later moved into the industrial field of installations for Oil Fields, MDF Plants and Sawmill construction, as well as, OSB maintenance. This gave Rob vast knowledge of all aspects of the electrical trade and has made him a specialist in all areas of the business.

Since founding Summit Electric Ltd. in 2004, Rob has taken on a management role that includes estimating, designing, project management and the daily operations of the company.

Rob resides with his wife and four children in Quesnel, British Columbia.

Trevor Streek

VP of Operations/Owner


Trevor Streek is the Vice-President of Operations for Summit Electric Ltd. Trevor began his electrical career as a graduate of the Electrical Trade Program from the University College of the Cariboo in Kamloops, BC, in 2000. He has an extensive background in sawmills, pulp and paper, mining and the oil and gas sectors.

Trevor has worked as a Project Manager and has directed projects from the ground up and is comfortable supervising large crews. Trevor joined Summit Electric as an owner in October of 2004. Trevor’s training has further evolved into the business & management side of Summit Electric. Currently, Trevor takes care of human resources, sales, and project management.
Trevor resides in Kamloops, British Columbia with his wife and two children.

Robert Beaupertuis



Robert joined Summit Electric in the Spring of 2022. Robert is a CPA, with over 20 years of experience in various industries, including Oil & Gas. He completed the Queen’s Executive Program and is currently working to achieve his MBA. Robert is working out of our Vernon office as our Controller, supporting the management and accounting teams with management, capital investment analysis and financial reporting. Robert resides in Vernon with his wife and 2 children.

Kevin Nelson

Western Canadian Manager / Business Development


Kevin started his electrical apprenticeship with Summit Electric in 2005 and received his Electrical ticket in January 2010 from the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Kevin has evolved from a 1st year apprentice to Journeyman, Foreman Site Superintendent, Project Manager. Kevin has extensive experience in the mining, oil & gas, and the Forestry sectors. In 2012, Kevin was a key part of the site senior management team for the New Gold, New Afton Mine Expansion Project. In 2021, Kevin earned his ‘A’ FSR Certification, and is now our Western Canadian Manager over seeing day to day operations and Business Development for Summit Electric. Kevin resides in Kamloops with his wife and son.

Barry DeYaeger

Lead Estimator / Indigenous Liasson


As a proud member of the T’Sou-ke Nation in Sooke, BC, Barry has a wide range of education, including a Chemistry Degree from the University of British Columbia. After a career change and a shift into the trade industry, Barry received his Electrical ticket in 2006 from the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. He spent most of his apprenticeship doing industrial construction, most of which was in the forest industry. Barry then went into maintenance where he worked for West Fraser Mills, Quesnel Division for nearly 8 years. His maintenance duties included construction projects, PLC programming and shift maintenance. Barry joined the Summit Electric team in August of 2014 where he is now working as our lead estimator and Indigenous Liaison. Barry resides in Quesnel with his wife and son.

Peter Bayman

Estimator / Project Manager / Manufacturing


Peter completed his Electrical Apprenticeship in England, attaining his ticket in 1986. His work experience was in the field of Medical Equipment installations, eventually becoming the part owner of an electrical contracting company. In 1997, Peter and his family immigrated to Canada and he continued his electrical trade in sawmill construction attaining his Inter-provincial Red Seal and FSR B Status. Peter joined Summit Electric Ltd. in 2004 and has acted as a Journeyman Electrician, Site Supervisor and evolved into Project Manager. Peter specializes in the Oil & Gas sector and the manufacturing division of Summit Electric, based out of the Kamloops office. Peter is responsible for estimating, project design & management, and working with key clients.

Robert Hole

Estimator / Project Manager / QAQC


Robert started his apprenticeship in 2000 and received his Red Seal ticket in 2004 from Thompson Rivers University. Upon completion he later earned his ‘B’ FSR and Contractors license. Robert has extensive experience in large scale Hospital/Institution, mining, oil & gas, and the Forestry sectors. In 2016, Robert was a key part of the site senior management team for the Pretivm Resources Bruce Jack Mine Expansion Project. Robert starting with Summit Electric as a Journeyman Electrician and has evolved into an Estimator, Project Manager and QAQC Management roll, working out of our Kamloops office. Robert resides in Kamloops with his wife and 3 children.

Chad McLeod

Estimator / Project Manager


Chad started his electrical apprenticeship with Summit Electric in 2012 and received his Electrical ticket in 2017 from the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Throughout his apprenticeship, Chad gained a wide range of experience in the oil & gas, mining, and forestry sectors. Chad has been part of many large-scale projects with Summit Electric, including the New Afton New Gold Expansion Project, Gibraltar Mine GDP3 Project, the Tolko Industries Mill Upgrades in Williams Lake and the Pretivm Resources Bruce Jack Mine Expansion Project. Chad’s position evolved into a Site Supervision role in 2019 when he helped oversee the Teck Elkview 9 million Ton Project. In 2020, Chad was promoted to Project Manager and is now working out of our Kamloops office. Chad resides in Kamloops with his girlfriend.

Lukasz Siemiatkowski

Estimator / Project Manager


Lukasz received his Red Seal Journeyman Ticket in 2012 from Thompson Rivers University. In 2015 Lukasz joined Summit Electric for the Pretivm Resources Bruce Jack Mine Project where he worked on Power Distribution and Quality Control. Lukasz has experience in the oil & gas, mining, and forestry sectors. Since joining Summit Electric, he has worked on many major sites including the Tech Elkview Operations 9 million ton Expansion Project in Sparwood BC. In 2018. Recently, Lukasz’s role has evolved into a project management position overseeing Power Infrastructure Relocations for the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project. Lukasz resides in Kamloops with his wife and son.

Dennis Bjork

Site Superintendent


Dennis is an accomplished and diverse superintendent with over 25 years of successful experience in a wide array of functions. He received his Electrical ticket in 1992. Upon completion of his electrical education, Dennis continued with his project management education at Simon Fraser University, completing the Executive Management Program in 2007. He then went on to complete his Master Certificate in Applied Project Management and a Certificate in Advanced Strategic Project Management Practices in April 2009. Dennis has an impressive list of managerial and supervisory positions to his credit. These positions include Maintenance Supervisor and Project Manager at Canfor Quesnel, Weldwood Forest Products, Adams Lake, and International Forest Products where he oversaw the rebuild and construction of multiple lumber manufacturing facilities. Dennis has overseen the E&I scopes in a site superintendent role for many projects including New Gold, New Afton Mine Expansion and Gibraltar GDP3 Project. Dennis specializes in scheduling, crew management and cost tracking for multi-million-dollar projects. Dennis resides in Vernon with his wife

Erica Voight

Accounting Executive / Payroll / Accounts Receivable


Erica joined Summit Electric in 2019 as an office administrator and accounts payable clerk. Erica’s background specializes in Medical Management and Accounting. Since joining Summit Electric, Erica has been involved in all accounting departments including, payroll, AR and AP and daily operations of Summit Electric. In 2020, Erica moved into the role of Accounting Executive, based in our Quesnel Office. Recently, Erica has been instrumental in leading the implementation of Spectrum Accounting software, ensuring the seamless transition and interaction with existing office systems, and field management system, Traqspera.

Alissa Neilsen

Executive Assistant / Safety Administer


Alissa joined Summit Electric in 2012 as the office receptionist in our Kamloops office.
Before joining Summit Electric, Alissa worked as a site manager for Petro Canada. She has an Office Administrative Certificate from the Academy of Learning in Kamloops. Alissa’s role evolved into Executive Assistant and is responsible for supporting management, handling employees, company communication, preparing business correspondence, contracts and organizing travel arrangements within Summit Electric. In 2016, Alissa obtained her COR Internal Auditor Certificate and began to oversee internal audits and day to day safety administration for Summit Electric. Alissa resides in Kamloops with husband and 2 children.
