Position

Summit Electric is seeking Journeyman Electricians and 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join our team at the Artemis Blackwater Gold Mine Project, located approximately 2 hours southwest of Prince George, BC.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Red Seal Certification (Journeyman), or
• 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates must pass:

• Drug and alcohol screening
• Fitness-for-work medical assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience
• Fall Arrest certification
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification

Responsibilities & Expectations

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous construction or industrial electrical experience (an asset)
• Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Be physically fit and capable of performing demanding work while maintaining safe work practices
• Be comfortable working on stairs, elevated platforms, and uneven terrain
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow instructions accurately
• Be willing to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
• Be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
